I caved...or is it, cavied?
Kids were begging to get a pet, I thought I had a good out. "You can get a guinea pig if your grandmother lets you get a cage to keep down it with you at her shore house." She'd never go for it - house is too pristine.
I was wrong.

Now this is the kind of Steve posting we expect: his domestic tranquility upset by a new mammal. Congrats on the guinea pig. Couldn't you just get them a fern?
At least they don't live very long.
According to the 2006 Guinness Book of Records the longest living guinea pig survived 14 years, 10.5 months.
Is nothing going on in the BIOAPI lane these days?
