More kid stuff
Tried something different this weekend... Wild West City.
The place is a bit run down, but the constant cowboy shoot-em-up shows kept all the kids amused. Guns, holsters, and cowboy hats are pretty much mandatory, kids can bring their own, or they are happy to sell you some.

They actually sell beer at the saloon, a dollar a cup. Oh yeah, be careful not to get shot.

I have never been there. Now that I think of it, maybe I'll go--but you have done what Alexander Pope called "damning with faint praise" here--do I really want to schlep out there? Is it worth it?
Oh, also--the link from the word "shot" is pretty hilarious.
Ever been to Roadside America?
It's worth it, get there early to see all the shows. Your kids are the perfect age, and won't notice the shortcomings. Bring guns and cowboy hats. Easy to get there, right off 206, just north of 80. You can bring lunch if you want, and, I repeat, beer costs a dollar.
Oh yeah, Roadside America... went ther in the 70s, liked it then, haven't been back.
